OVERVIEW

The Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's enterprise-level systems strategy. Their primary role is to ensure that their assigned systems are operating efficiently, securely, and effectively to support the manufactured housing, recreational vehicle, accounting/financial, and other ancillary business objectives.

JOB DUTIES

Develops and implements strategic system roadmap and initiatives aligned with Sun's goals and objectives.
Partners with business leaders across Sun to inform and gain buy-in on the system vision, strategy, features, budgets, and priorities.
Stays informed of and understands high-level business processes across various systems within the enterprise technology architecture.
Oversees installations, configurations, and implementations on assigned systems.
Monitors and ensures assigned systems' availability, performance, and security; promptly resolves issues or business disruptions.
Conducts regular system assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement; implements measures to mitigate risks.
Develops and maintains system documentation, including operating and support procedures, configurations, and technical specifications.
Leads required upgrades and enhancements to the assigned system.
Collaborates with external vendors and internal teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, design, and implement system solutions.
Oversees acquisition, disposition, and conversion tasks related to assigned systems.
Manages relationships with external vendor partners and internal technology teams.
Maintains accurate system records, establishes contacts, support procedures, and manages key system dates.
Stays abreast of emerging tech trends, recommends system enhancements, and drives adoption strategies.
Performs other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in information technology or a related field (Required).
At least 5 years of experience in product ownership, system administration, or support roles.
Minimum of 3 years in enterprise systems management, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem-solving skills for customer requests using configuration.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
Ability to take initiative and adapt to change.
Knowledge of configuration and support best practices.
Solid understanding of IT security principles, including access controls, data protection, and compliance.
Effective collaboration skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
