The role of a Sales Development Representative at Canonical
Canonical is profitable and growing. We consider our sales development organization to be the best technology sales academy in the market, selecting exceptional and ambitious candidates to join our team. You will enjoy this role if you are organized, persistent, charismatic, and hardworking, with an interest in tech and its business implications. You will collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams, with the primary goal of finding customer projects that fit our product lines and promoting Canonical across various industries and geographies.

What your day will look like

Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting at booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
Collaborate with multiple teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.
Work directly with marketing on campaigns.
Research prospective customers.
Generate a multi-million pound pipeline.
Identify prospects and market trends.
Help define team processes and policies.
Liaise with customers, set up and attend meetings, and actively map accounts to identify new opportunities.
Create, update, maintain, and nurture leads on global opportunities.

Your base pay will depend on factors such as location, experience, knowledge, and skills. Additional benefits may include bonuses and sales incentives based on revenue or utilization. Our compensation philosophy aims for equity across our global workforce.
