For our team in Schelle, Belgium, we are currently recruiting for an Integration Architect!

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Integration Architect to manage and further develop our Boomi integration platform. This function is crucial to optimize the electronic interaction with our external and internal partners across our European operations.

You will join a team of talented individuals taking care of all functional and technical aspects of our digital integrations to guarantee data flows efficiently and effectively across our applications landscape. To achieve all this, you will partner closely with business and IT colleagues, as well as third-party vendors, enabling top-notch solutions that maximize value delivery and support business growth.

Responsibilities:

Boomi Platform Architecture

• Serve as the primary owner and architect of the Boomi platform.
• Define and implement a Boomi enhancement roadmap aligned with internal/external customers and IT peer objectives.
• Ensure the Boomi platform's performance, reliability, and scalability meet organizational needs.
• Stay updated on Boomi advancements and recommend the platform's evolutionary path.

Business Collaboration

• Partner with internal and external customers and IT peers to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business and IT needs into top-notch solutions using Boomi's capabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on integration best practices.

Solution Administration & Support

• Manage all technical aspects of Boomi, including platform configuration, integration setup, application development and workflow customization.
• Determine support priorities and provide hands-on assistance.
• Oversee third-party support and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Plan and coordinate release management of all Boomi-related enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations.

Innovation & Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve integrations, custom applications and master data management using Boomi tools.
• Implement system alerts and control mechanisms to safeguard Boomi platform' stability and performance.
• Pin down new Boomi features and best practices that could be adopted to enhance usability and value delivery to the business.

Documentation & Training

• Maintain detailed documentation of Boomi architecture, standard setup and customizations.
• Train other IT colleagues to empower them and promote effective system usage.

Requirements, Experience, & Education:

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with Boomi platform in a solution architect or similar role.
• Proven ability to design, deliver and support technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Strong understanding of multiple Boomi modules: Integration, API, DataHub and Flow.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring SLA adherence.
• Knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency both, written and spoken, in English and a good command of Dutch or French. Knowledge of any other European language is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the supply chain industry or related sectors.
• Proficiency in traditional and low-code software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with ANSI/EDIFACT EDI standards and commonly-used communication protocols.
