Production L2 Integration Support MQ IIBTo lead a technical team providing L2 production support for integration services, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to CP4I, OpenShift, and API Management platforms (e.g., APIgee).Role and ResponsibilitiesThis role involves leading a technical team responsible for production support in integration services.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CP4I (Cloud Pak for Integration) and infra OSCP (OpenShift Container Platform) and API Management platforms such as APIgee.Responsible for daily health checks and proactively identifying issues.This role requires being on call 24/7 to address any critical issues or emergencies that occur outside of regular business hours.Qualifications and Education RequirementA.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master's degree may be preferred but not always required.B.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in integration technologies such as IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), or similar middleware platforms.
Proficiency in API Management Platforms such as Google Apigee and similar solutions.
Strong understanding of integration concepts, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, MQTT).
Experience with cloud integration services (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.
Knowledge of infrastructure components and systems, including operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking, and security.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for infrastructure and application performance management.C.
Leadership Skills:
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a production support environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a technical team.
Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage resources to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and operational objectives.
Experience with incident management processes, including incident triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis.
Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions to resolve critical issues.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.D.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in IT, with a focus on integration technologies and production support.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex integration issues, analyzing logs, and diagnosing root causes.
Previous experience with on-call rotations and providing 24/7 support for mission-critical systems and applications.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management.E.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Solution Advisor - Cloud Pak for Integration V2021, IBM Certified Application Developer - Integration Bus V10.0, or equivalent certifications from other vendors may be beneficial.EducationComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master's degree may be preferred.SkillsA.
