About Global Distribution & Capital Coverage at JLL
The Global Distribution and Capital Coverage team is an essential component of JLL's $2bn+ revenue Capital Markets business.
The team is made up of a group of senior individuals located across the world's key financial hubs, including but not limited to Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Seoul, Tel Aviv, London and New York.
The team's primary focus is to develop and maintain decision-maker relationships with the full spectrum of the most active global capital sources by having a comprehensive understanding of global real estate strategies and distributing relevant JLL product across Investment Sales, Real Estate Investment Banking and Funds Placement.
About the role
The GCC remains one of the most active capital sources globally.
The role is to oversee the GCC function of the Global Distribution team and will include coverage of the full spectrum of GCC capital sources, focusing on understanding global and domestic real estate strategies and ensuring the effective distribution of JLL's most significant and strategic mandates across Investment Sales, Real Estate Investment Banking and Funds Placement.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate and highly motivated about adding value and delivering superior results to JLL's global Capital Markets business.
The candidate will work in a team that aims to identify, understand and educate global capital, and to use this knowledge to originate, lead and help execute transactions for JLL's global Capital Markets platform.
The candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to form trusted relationships and will remain involved on downstream assignments, from early advisory stages through to execution, utilizing the wider resources of JLL along the way.
The Global Capital Coverage GCC Lead's primary responsibilities will be to:

Lead coverage for the GCC region and maintain decision-maker relationships for the full spectrum of capital sources (SWF's, Financial Institutions, Syndicators, Private Wealth) as it relates to their investment strategies globally, with a particular focus on outbound capital.
Work closely with JLL's market, sector and product leads in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions to ensure effective and proactive distribution of relevant JLL product across both the direct and indirect space (including Funds Placement).
Maintain a strong understanding of global real estate market dynamics as well as JLL's priority Investment Sales, Real Estate Investment Banking and Funds Placement mandates.
Assist GCC capital sources with their global RE strategies through acquisitions, divestments and refinancing.
Arrange and participate in roadshows for Clients, Sponsors and JLL colleagues.
Track both offshore and domestic GCC capital sentiment and appetite and ensure GCC capital intelligence is being distributed effectively across JLL's global Capital Markets business.
Track GCC capital positions across domestic/regional/global private real estate.
Assist in originating revenue generating opportunities from GCC capital groups for Capital Markets as well as cross-selling to JLL's other business lines.
Engage and collaborate closely with the wider Global Distribution and Capital Coverage team, including participating in team calls, initiatives and ensuring the team are seen as thought leaders across JLL's global Capital Markets business.
In addition to the Global Distribution and Capital Coverage leads and team, the candidate will work closely with JLL's Capital Markets leadership, including but not limited to the GCC Regional leads, Regional Private Wealth leads, Funds Placement leads, Global Strategic Transactions Team, Geo/Sector/Product Regional leads and the Global Hotels Desk Regional lead.
Unlock new GCC capital groups with requirements to deploy capital offshore.
Understand and maximize JLL's Technology platforms to facilitate and simplify the distribution of product and capital intelligence as it relates to GCC capital.
Key Requirements
Over 8 years of real estate experience.
Proven experience in managing client relationships.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
Fluent in English.
Any other language, including Arabic, is a plus.
International Bachelor education degree.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and ability to manage a broad range of tasks and responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills with cultural sensitivity and the ability to credibly interact with both institutional and private clients & investors.
Client first and sales mindset.
Willingness to undertake business travel in the region and internationally.
