Role Overview:
This position is within the Management Company area of FundRock Management Company/FundRock LRI, part of Apex Group. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the Central Administrator Oversight team, meeting client deadlines, and adhering to regulatory requirements, with exposure to investment funds across Luxembourg and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Oversee delegated service providers, including Central Administrators, Transfer Agents, and depositary banks, performing due diligence and data analysis.
Review accounting data, KPIs of liquid investment funds, and ensure data accuracy and procedural updates.
Identify risks impacting NAV calculations, escalate issues, and contribute to resolutions.
Prepare and review reports such as financial statements, capital accounts, and management information, reporting operational risks to management.
Develop and improve risk-based controls for service providers and funds through data analysis and audits.
Engage with service providers to resolve issues and maintain regular communication, including onsite reviews.
Assist in restructuring services to meet future client, regulatory, and business needs.
Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
Requirements:
Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Legal, or related fields.
Professional experience in fund accounting, depositary, or audit.
Knowledge of European regulatory investment products, UCITS, AIFMD, and fund regulations.
Excellent communication, analytical, and client-service skills.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and handle challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; fluency in English; additional languages like French or German are advantageous.
