Within the Operations department of AXA XL Iberia, you will join the Middle Office team that aims to provide a high-quality service for our clients, creating and activating insurance coverage on complex risks.
As Senior Underwriting Assistant, you will provide support to Underwriting teams and ensure that the administrative processes for the end-to-end policy lifecycle are run efficiently at a high quality to serve internal and external clients.
Discover your opportunity You will be responsible for :
Handling contracts efficiently and accurately for new and existing Casualty businesses, including checking acceptance conditions, interacting with clients, and using data sources to make informed decisions.
Following up until contract signing or refusal, developing draft contracts and amendments, and modifying coverage concepts as needed.
Preparing contracts beyond authority and discussing them with the team leader.
Monitoring, planning, and issuing contractual documents such as policies, endorsements, and certificates.
Supporting the Credit Control team in cash allocation and monitoring outstanding premiums.
Managing information by preparing weekly reports, premium flows, and policy instructions.
Controlling the Gross and Net portfolio and developing expertise in our tools for Global Programs.
Following new guidelines for policy administration and Global Programs management.
You will report to the Team Lead Casualty - Operations.
We are looking for someone with :
Previous experience in insurance companies in similar roles.
Proven experience managing Global Programs and complex accounts.
Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum C1 CEFR).
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Good team player, self-motivated, and adaptable.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.
Ability to respond flexibly to changing environments and manage relationships effectively.
