We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Production Team.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align Aristocrat's strategic objectives with Product Madness's project portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include end-to-end project management, facilitating project intake and discovery, driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Owning project outcomes, ensuring governance, and leading change are essential for success.
Strong strategic thinking, technical expertise, and customer focus are key.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager will oversee multiple projects within Product Madness, working closely with Game Producers and the wider Aristocrat PMO teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to facilitate project intake, discovery, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Maintain transparent, up-to-date project status reports.
• Drive process improvements and foster continuous improvement culture.
• Develop and implement PMO capabilities, tools, and processes.
• Define and monitor KPIs for project management effectiveness.
• Conduct project discovery activities:
requirements gathering, risk analysis, scope definition.
• Lead project reviews and evaluate performance, risks, and issues.
• Monitor change management efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with governance, frameworks, and regulations.
• Contribute to the success of project management practices organization-wide.
• Develop release management strategies and oversee release activities.
• Coordinate with teams to establish release processes and schedules.
• Facilitate communication regarding release status and impacts.
• Mentor junior team members in project management and technical skills.
What We're Looking For Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 6+ years leading strategic projects, overseeing PMO functions, and managing operational excellence.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and experience in delivering results.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing complex projects in a matrix organization.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience reporting on project status, risks, and resources.
• Leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams.
• Familiarity with resource management and capacity planning tools.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of software development workflows and deployment processes.
• Certifications such as AgilePM, PgMP, PMP, or CSM are highly preferred.
• Experience in gaming or entertainment technology sectors.
• Passion for mobile games and social casino categories.
• Knowledge of gaming industry regulations.
