Position Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performance sales team to:
Leverage prospecting skills to identify, qualify, and close new business.
Develop, maintain, and grow an ongoing four-quarter sales pipeline funnel at a qualified 5X ratio.
Deliver high-impact customer presentations that articulate the company's value proposition.
Close sales in complex, long sales cycle situations.
Develop a thorough understanding of the Skillsoft Global Knowledge consultative and solution selling process.
Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performance account management sales team to:
Retain and increase revenue in assigned customer accounts.
Develop, maintain, and grow an ongoing funnel at a qualified 3X ratio.
Leverage prospecting skills to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities within existing accounts.
Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive top-line revenue growth, managing conflicts between service offerings positively.
Operate as a strategic partner and proactively serve as a 'trusted advisor' in digital transformation environments.
Maintain awareness of the changing technology landscape and IT workforce.
Collaborate with sales operations on annual budgeting and quota setting.
Partner with sales, marketing, and support resources to advance opportunities and market penetration.
Work effectively with senior leaders and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Establish coaching as an ongoing priority, including territory planning, executing sales plans, and leadership engagement.
Manage expenses to ensure comprehensive territory coverage.

Proven success in recruiting and managing 6+ person sales teams to achieve regional goals.
Experience in developing and executing regional sales plans for customer acquisition and growth.
Proficiency in supporting all sales cycle stages, from prospecting to closing and repeat business.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to interact effectively with corporate management.
Existing key contacts in the corporate training industry are a plus.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage expenses and thrive in a fast-growth environment.
Experience leading sales teams in software sales is required.
