Are you eager to shape the user experience of a product that impacts thousands of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across Denmark? If so, we are looking for a passionate Senior User Experience Systems Designer to lead and evolve our design system efforts at e-conomic. You'll join a team on a mission to advance, evangelise, and mature a robust design system that empowers designers and developers to build consistent user experiences.

For this role, collaboration is key, which means you will be working closely in a product trio (UX, PM, and Tech Lead) and other stakeholders to improve existing components and patterns, develop new ones, and solve complex problems for our users. Besides improving the Visma e-conomic design system, you will join forces with the rest of our skilled user experience designers to improve the customer journey and spread the UX spirit!

In this role, you will:

• Be part of a supportive centralised UX team of 14 that strives to evangelise UX and always pushes for a design thinking approach.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to align expectations and ensure that the customers' voices are embedded in our decision-making.
• Own the design system documentation and guidelines, ensuring they are always up-to-date and accessible to all teams.
• Ensure the scalability of the design system by building components that can be reused and adapted across different products and platforms.
• Drive the adoption of the design system across the organization, providing guidance and support to other designers and developers.
• Apply your UX toolbox filled with different research techniques to gain meaningful insights through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Test and validate ideas, hypotheses, and prototypes with our customers.

About you:

• You are passionate about building out design systems and creating solutions that are accessible, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
• You have a deep understanding of atomic design principles and know how to break down complex UI elements into reusable components.
• You are meticulous about maintaining design consistency and can effectively communicate the importance of this across different teams.
• You are a curious soul who finds it interesting to know why people are using a product. You seek to get under the skin of our customers' complexity and turn this complexity into a solution that meets the users' needs.
• You have experience working as a UX designer on a design system with a strong track record of end-to-end design processes.
• You are self-motivated and responsible, capable of independently solving problems with your product trio and making decisions while also receiving guidance from your team lead.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• 3+ years of professional experience and a proven track record of your previous work.
• Experience in maintaining and scaling a design system within a growing organisation.
• You are excellent at communicating in English (written and oral) and Danish (oral).
• You have experience designing enterprise/B2B/SaaS products.
• Proficient in UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Practical experience with different ideation and research methodologies. You are data-driven and skilled at using research and testing to inform your design decisions.
• A collaborative mindset. You are able to facilitate, structure, and drive workshops.
• Strong communication skills. You are visualising your ideas and processes to make sure your work is clearly understood.
• A creative mindset and a can-do attitude. You are not afraid to take risks, experiment, and explore new ideas.
