• What You'll Be Doing:* Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including thorough teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, with a gentle and effective approach.
• Accurately record patient medical and dental history, and document all treatment provided.
• Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, and clearly explain oral hygiene techniques and recommendations to patients in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Take high-quality digital dental X-rays as required for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in both the operatory and laboratory areas, adhering to all infection control protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatment plans and progress notes.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
• What You'll Bring to Our Practice:*Registration in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) is essential.* A strong understanding of current dental hygiene procedures and the ability to effectively communicate treatment options to patients.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of patient care and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with dental office management software; experience with Tracker is a valuable asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with a natural ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
