Data Scientist
THE ROLE
Our site in Billerica, MA or Aurora, IL or Chaska, MN is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team. We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in statistics, knowledge graphs, machine learning, and generative AI. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quantitative analysis, experience with complex data structures, and is well-versed in designing and implementing AI models using Knowledge Graphs. You will play a pivotal role in building and deploying sophisticated data models, extracting insights, and developing scalable AI solutions for our product lines.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Statistical Analysis and Data Modeling
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and build statistical models to understand complex data patterns and drive strategic decisions.
Design and implement statistical experiments to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes, focusing on scalability and reproducibility.
Utilize advanced statistical techniques, including Bayesian methods, time series analysis, and predictive modeling.
Develop and maintain interactive analytical tools and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge Graph Development
Develop and maintain large-scale knowledge graphs to represent relationships across complex datasets.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create interconnected knowledge representations.
Implement graph-based algorithms to derive insights, improve recommendation systems, and enhance search capabilities.
Ensure knowledge graph scalability, accuracy, and performance for end-user applications.
Generative AI and Machine Learning
Design, train, and fine-tune generative AI models, such as language models (e.g., GPT, BERT), to generate new content and enhance data insights.
Work with large-scale datasets to create innovative solutions and deploy machine learning models that solve real-world business problems.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate generative AI solutions into existing applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, R&D scientists, and data engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into successful model deployment.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Document methodologies, workflows, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and training within the team.
WHAT WE SEEK
Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data science, focusing on statistical modeling, knowledge graphs, and/or generative AI applications.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis.
Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, ArangoDB) and graph algorithms.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and generative AI models.
Experience managing workloads in cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
Strong foundation in statistical techniques, data structures, and algorithms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
