Banner Health, a top five healthcare organization, is recruiting a full-spectrum General Surgeon to join a thriving health system that values collaboration and excellence in the surgical care of its community. This practice model allows you to use your skills and training, providing needed services to a prominent rural service area, while maintaining an exceptional work-life balance!

Minimum Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Active WY license or eligible to obtain
DEA with prescriptive authority
3- 5 years experience strongly preferred

Practice Details:

Critical Access Hospital with Level IV trauma
Full spectrum General Surgery Practice
Endoscopy skills required
Comfortable assisting with C-Sections and OB in the OR
Full-time
OR; 2 days per week, Clinic; 2 days per week
Call:
10 days/mo required (1 weekend)

$60k sign-on bonus

Community Hospital in Torrington is a 25-bed critical access Joint Commission Certified facility offering the latest in technological upgrades and supported by a staff of dedicated physicians; Emergency Care with a Level III Trauma Center, provides Women's Care and Birthing Center with birthing suites, Cancer Care, a Full Service Lab, Radiology, CT and Mammography, Ultrasound, Mobile MRI, Echocardiogram, Nuclear Medicine, Diabetes Education, and a Weekend Walk-in Clinic.

Located just 1-hour from Cheyenne and situated on the banks of the North Platte River, Torrington is home to 6,700 people and serves over 15,000. The community thrives on its rural pace and charm, has a wonderful school system, including Eastern Wyoming College, and offers plenty of outdoor fun!
