Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Care Services Division, you will provide advanced nursing care, including but not limited to:
Pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing diagnostic interventional cardiac catheterization.
Administration of medications and IV therapy, including blood and blood products.
Critical care procedures such as foley catheter insertion, telemetry monitoring, and managing ventilators.
Collaboration with physicians during procedures like chest tube and central line insertions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and develop tailored nursing care plans.
Take appropriate actions based on identified patient needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Demonstrate professional growth and contribute to team development.
Provide direct patient care with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
Qualifications:
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Current registered nurse licensure in West Virginia.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
