What Will You Do? As a PRN RNFA, you will:
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile surgical field.
Carefully assess and prepare equipment and supplies according to patient and physician needs.
Assist the surgeon proficiently, demonstrating your surgical nursing skills.
Provide exemplary preoperative and postoperative care.
Contribute to cost-effective healthcare delivery while ensuring the highest quality patient care.
Be flexible enough to take on on-call assignments and assist with various surgical services as needed.
Requirements:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting.
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) preferred.
A valid Registered Nurse license.
