The Enterprise Network Architect is the subject matter expert (SME) in Network infrastructure and Cloud connectivity services. The role involves leading network modernization, design, implementation, Public Cloud connectivity, and issue resolution aligned with business needs. Responsibilities also include network documentation, presentations, technical road maps, and configuration standards. The architect mentors systems network engineers to handle advanced support issues and manage network functions.

What You Will Do:

Design and execute network infrastructure projects involving LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, DM-VPN, and Cloud services.

Maintain WAN Optimization for all regions for optimal performance.

Create, update, and maintain all ABS network diagrams for Cloud, Hub, and Leaf sites.

Provide network security support, including design, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise implementations.

Support enterprise cloud implementations with solutions such as Azure Firewall, Virtual networks, Express Routes, and Virtual network gateways.

Collaborate with outside vendors to resolve current and new network issues.

Review and update policies on deployed solutions to ensure effectiveness and relevance.

Implement security frameworks, best practices, and standards globally, and develop long-term roadmaps aligned with business initiatives.

Monitor and ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and procedures; conduct incident response analyses; train network engineers.

Collaborate with IMS teams on new projects, providing technical expertise.

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, understanding core processes and priorities.

Assist IMS teams in troubleshooting end-user connectivity and latency issues locally and remotely.

Maintain and update all Network Management/Monitoring tools.

Stay current with technological changes and company needs.

Follow the IMS Change management process and advise on all network-related changes.

What You Will Need:
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or related field; an advanced degree or 10+ years of experience is preferred.

10+ years in Network Infrastructure Design, Implementation, and Maintenance.

5+ years in Azure Network Infrastructure and Azure Firewall Architecture.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Cisco IOS, LACP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN, DM-VPN.

Experience with Cisco WLCs and ISE, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Central, and Aruba CPPM.

A10 experience is a plus.

Knowledge of Cisco Voice, including SIP, CUAC, and CUCM.

Experience with TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, switches, fiber optics.

Experience with Solarwinds Orion and network monitoring tools.

Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.

Preferred Certifications

CCNA, CCNP, or related certifications; CCIE in Routing and Switching preferred.

Palo Alto certification is a plus.
