The Senior Controls Engineer role presents an exceptional opportunity to shape the automation infrastructure that powers semiconductor innovation.
This position combines technical leadership with strategic system development, directly impacting Natcast's ability to advance semiconductor research and development through sophisticated control systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement SCADA, PLC, and HMI systemsDevelop and maintain control system architectureLead automation integration projectsCreate comprehensive system documentationImplement data acquisition strategiesEnsure cybersecurity complianceTroubleshoot complex control system issuesSupport capital projects and facility upgradesProvide technical mentorship to engineering teamOptimize system performance and reliabilityDevelop control system standards and best practicesRequired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)5-8 years of control systems engineering experienceExpertise in SCADA platforms (Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX)Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)Experience with fieldbus systems and industrial networkingKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processesExcellence in project management and documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDemonstrated success in team collaborationExperience with system integration and optimizationPreferred Skills and Experience:
