Job Summary

The Consultant - F&A will play a crucial role in assisting clients to identify business challenges and deliver feasible solutions that drive business value through innovative digital technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and analytics. This role requires deep understanding of business processes and domain knowledge, particularly in Finance & Accounting (F&A), to help clients transform their business operations effectively and efficiently. The consultant will focus on delivering solutions in critical areas like Month-End/Period-End Closing, Working Capital Optimization, and AP/AR Transformation, aligning business processes with digital technologies to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

F&A Transformation Consulting:
Lead and participate in Finance Transformation Consulting opportunities, particularly in areas like Month-End/Period-End Closing, Working Capital Optimization, AP/AR Transformation, and Shared Services Operating Models.
Innovation & Transformation Engagements:
Participate in complex engagements to understand business challenges, conduct fit-gap analysis, and develop solutions that integrate digital technologies such as RPA, AI, ML, and analytics to improve operational processes.
Consulting & Strategy:
Utilize consulting skills and industry expertise to recommend and deliver digital solutions that align with business objectives, processes, and tools.
Business Process Re-engineering:
Drive accounting re-process design engagements by reimagining and optimizing current business processes.
Shared Services Expertise:
Demonstrate experience in business process outsourcing (BPO) and/or shared services operations, particularly in the F&A domain.
Client Relationship Management:
Engage proactively with client stakeholders to redefine business processes and create new operating models using digital technologies.
Project Leadership:
Lead and participate in large-scale transformation projects, ensuring that solutions are aligned with competitive forces and market requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor s Degree in any discipline.

Experience:

At least 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, particularly in digital transformation.
Proven expertise in driving business process improvements and automation initiatives.
In-depth experience in F&A process improvement areas such as Order to Cash (O2C), Order Management (OM), AP/AR Transformation, and Shared Services Operating Models.
Demonstrated experience in delivering transformation engagements and working with complex business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Digital Transformation Expertise:
Strong consulting and F&A expertise, particularly in digital transformation within business processes.
Automation Experience:
Prior experience in driving automation initiatives through business process reviews, identifying use cases for RPA automation.
RPA & BPM Knowledge:
Familiarity with leading RPA and BPM products such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, WorkFusion, UI Path, Pega, etc.
Solution Introduction:
Experience implementing solutions such as Blackline, HighRadius, Ariba, etc.
ERP Knowledge:
Familiarity with SAP and Oracle products.
Client Skills:
Strong client interfacing, relationship management, and presentation skills.
