Agility Partners is partnering with a rapidly growing ice cream company looking to advance their IT Department in finding a talented IT Infrastructure Engineer. As the Infrastructure Engineer you will make a difference by designing, configuring, analyzing, supporting, patching, monitoring, and maintaining the infrastructure technology, devices, and applications. The Infrastructure Engineer will lead the design and implementation of core infrastructure components, utilizing advanced technical skills to coordinate efforts and provide insight and recommendations for operating enterprise cloud and physical infrastructure solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer will also be responsible for supporting and enhancing the infrastructure moving forward. The Infrastructure Engineer will be required to provide cost-efficient solutions and processes that support the business strategy, balancing a solid core with innovative new directions.

• Design, deploy and maintain scalable infrastructure with minimal direct supervision.

• Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across several platforms including Data Warehouse, online caches, and real-time systems.

• Design database systems according to company strategic requirements and objectives.

• Implement system changes with consistency and autonomy, automate service delivery and maintenance tasks, and build monitoring and tooling for systems.

• Lead projects designed to maintain and improve the infrastructure footprint, including directory services.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure technology including endpoint management solutions, cloud storage solutions and system virtualization in cloud infrastructure.

• Automate, maintain, and execute plans for backups, restores, and disaster recovery

• Align, support, and coordinate with the Head of Technology on projects, vulnerability assessments, and incident management as required.

• Support in the design and implementation of infrastructure services to meet business needs using Agile methodology.

• Document systems, solutions, and topologies within the infrastructure area of responsibility.

• The ideal candidate will have a love for ice cream and passion for Infrastructure!

• Full working knowledge of Windows Active Directory service.

• Understanding of system architecture: storage solutions, network topologies, security best practice, etc.

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in enterprise infrastructure build and deployment including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and access control.

• At least 2 years of experience configuring Cisco/Meraki switches.

• Network/Security/Virtualization and/or cloud certification desirable (vendor Certs, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware Checkpoint)

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues regarding database solutions, including various performance issues that database operations can encounter

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
