Responsibilities:
Nuestros mecánicos diésel realizan la inspección, el diagnóstico y la reparación de los sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos, de suspensión, de frenos y de aire de los vehículos y equipos, incluidos los camiones pesados y los motores diésel. Realiza la inspección de mantenimiento preventivo (PMI); Soluciona problemas, repara y reconstruye los componentes principales de los vehículos y equipos. Garantiza un diagnóstico preciso y una reparación y/o sustitución eficaz de los componentes. Las responsabilidades adicionales incluyen:
Realiza todo el trabajo de acuerdo con los procedimientos de seguridad establecidos.
Completa el papeleo requerido utilizando el programa de software de mantenimiento de flotas asociado con la reparación de vehículos, la documentación del uso de piezas y la contabilidad de los tiempos de reparación.
Ayuda en la reparación y ajuste de equipos.
Lava vehículos y equipos.
Realiza comprobaciones de seguridad en los vehículos.
Ayuda con las llamadas de servicio por averías.
Realice otros trabajos relacionados con el mantenimiento según sea necesario.
Mantenga un área de trabajo limpia y segura de acuerdo con las normas corporativas / OSHA.
Qualifications:
3-5+ años de experiencia como mecánico de clase A o B
Se requiere experiencia en diagnóstico informático
Se valorará la experiencia previa en la industria de la gestión de residuos o en la experiencia en concesionarios de equipos pesados/hierro amarillo
La escuela de oficios o una formación similar es una ventaja
Conocimiento de los procedimientos y prácticas de seguridad
