Department Overview
8 bed unit with 3 shifts of 12 hours, self-scheduling available and a comprehensive 12-week orientation program.
Essential Functions
Perform intervention plans including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Document all patient care delivered.
Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
Coordinate care across disciplines for patient transfers, discharges, and support needs.
Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and families.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Adhere to core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices.

Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute care hospital located in Hickory, NC, and belongs to Lifepoint Health. We are committed to making communities healthier through our integrated healthcare services.
Qualifications and Requirements
Current state RN license required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred.
ASLS certification preferred.
