Department/Unit Summary
Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm. There is no Sunday or overnight on call requirement. 36 hours during the week is required. Possible opportunity for overtime
The department is compromised of a dialysis suite adjacent to the ICU. It has 4 bays in the suite as well as 2 isolation rooms. Treatments are completed either in the suite or at the bedside for ICU patients.
The dialysis nurses work closely with the nephrologists to ensure patients receive their necessary dialysis treatments. There is collaboration and open communication between providers and nurses. We have recently purchased Tablo dialysis machines that are user friendly and easy to use.
The staff would also be responsible for working closely with Hiring Manager to ensure supplies are stocked and in date. They also are responsible for cleaning the machines per manufacturer guidelines and foll.
