• This internship is scheduled to be a yearlong with a student working part-time during the semester and full-time during breaks and Summer months.

The year-long Marketing Intern position is meant to provide an encompassing experience through a variety of projects that support our business within the Marketing department. The programs primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and a series of assignments in their specific area of academic and professional interest.

• Job Summary:
•

The Marketing Intern will support the priorities of the Brand Management team by helping execute the strategic plans inside our Retail and International channels.

This position is a flexible resource supporting each Sr. Brand Manager/Brand Manager with a wide array of marketing activities critical to the achievement of short- and long-term brand and business objectives.

Will be involved in all aspects of brand and product management, gaining the on-the-job experience required to grow his/her career in our Marketing department.

Key areas of support will be in:

• Product development - Participate in research projects to identify and qualify new product opportunities.

• Package design & development - Support functional and artistic package design for existing and new products.

• Business analysis - Analyze business issues and opportunities identified by the brand team.

• Discipline: currently enrolled in a Master's of MBA degree in Marketing, Communications, Agribusiness or related discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

• Extracurricular: active participation in a campus or community organization.

• Analytical skills: ability to interpret data and problem solve; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.

• Communication: collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills.

+ Including strong presentation skills.

• Project management: strong work ethic with ability to meet project deadlines.

• Work: history of work prior to college and/or during college.
