Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will address the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural needs of the patients and their families while maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team regarding any changes in patient conditions or responses to treatments. This role requires the ability to remain flexible, organized, and calm under pressure.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Required License:
Must be a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state)
Required Certification:
BLS certification required; additional certifications as required by the department
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery
