Compensation:
$27.49 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours worked.
Available Schedules:
Day shift - Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Night shift - Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
Night shift - Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials or finished products to the warehouse or trucks for customer distribution.
Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain the energy source for the lift.
Operate, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on palletizing equipment.
Conduct hourly quality checks and inspect finished goods and raw materials as needed.
Complete and maintain quality, inventory, and preventative maintenance documentation.
Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Work collaboratively with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and enhance operations.
Keep work areas organized and clean, adhering to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Monitor equipment downtime and track key metrics such as equipment output.
Meet or exceed performance goals, including pallets/labor hour, line loading, and truck turnaround time.
Collaborate with production and warehouse teams, quality control, and maintenance to maximize efficiency.
Train to perform additional lift and off-lift activities as needed.
Provide vacation coverage for team members as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
A valid driver's license with no major driving offenses in the last 3 years.
Passing a 5-panel drug test and MVR check is required.
Two or more years of prior forklift experience with a solid safety record, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience in manufacturing, especially within the food or beverage industry, with knowledge of GMPs.
Solid computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and business management software, with SAP experience being beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced forklift environment with a sense of urgency.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during a 12-hour shift.
Willingness to work holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operational environment.
Comfortable working in a warehouse with minimal temperature control and varying local temperature conditions.
Seasonal positions provide valuable experience with a leading beverage company, and there's potential for permanent roles at the end of the assignment. Note that individuals in temporary and seasonal assignments may not be eligible for all company benefits.
