Schedule: Choice between 1st & 2nd shift (8-hour shifts; weekdays and weekends)

1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight
Hours per Week: 40

Compensation:

Weekly Gross: $2,445.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week ($20/hour)
Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,645.00 Per Week

Clearance Requirement:

U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance
Background & credit check required
ICE Clearance Screening Form required at submission

Job Duties

Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through interviews and record reviews.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each inmate's mental health needs.
Deliver therapeutic interventions, including counseling, crisis response, and brief psychotherapeutic support.
Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the health care record per policy.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings with clinical records and sensitive information.
Provide mental health services consistent with professional standards, facility policies, and client requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Experience conducting clinical interviews and psychological assessments
Strong documentation and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to manage crisis intervention and therapeutic relationships
Familiarity with correctional or high-security environments is a plus
Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a comparable role
Active, unrestricted state licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Texas (required)
Valid driver's license preferred (unless otherwise contractually required)

U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for ICE clearance eligibility)
