Crystal Lake Community Consolidated School District #47 Crystal Lake School District 47 is currently accepting applications for a summer warehouse assistant to work this summer. This position is responsible for assisting the warehouse in daily activities. Responsibilities will vary and may include inventory, receiving and delivery of educational materials and supplies. Mon. - Fr. 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (5/19/2025 - 8/29/2025) Rate: $15/hr
Warehouse:
• Receive and distribute shipments from delivery services
• Prepare mail and parcel for mailing or shipping
• Meter postage on authorized material
• Deliveries to Post Office
• Deliveries throughout the district
• Substitute for a warehouse employee when absent
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned
Requirements Include:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive interpersonal communication skills
• Highly organized, efficient and self-starting
• Ability to work alone or in a team setting
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, walking and lifting over 50 pounds
• Working in a non-air conditioned environment
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and practices
• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Ability to operate and drive district vehicles
• Must have a valid driver license
