This position is responsible for defining the release plan in collaboration with the product owner, program manager, business analysts, and platform engineering team.
It involves leading the development team to deliver features according to the release plan and managing the operations team for platform support and enhancements.
The role requires adherence to AbbVie's SLC process to ensure compliance, quality, and validation of systems.
The person will demonstrate continuous improvement in SFDC solutions delivery, stay updated on technological trends, and conduct technical research to recommend new capabilities.
Responsibilities include conceiving, designing, engineering, and implementing data and software solutions to solve significant business problems, generating proposals, leading efforts, investigating and implementing state-of-the-art technology platforms, and acting as a lead in their area of expertise.
Technology Architects will be aligned to specific areas such as Information, Solution, System, User Experience (UX), or Data.
Responsibilities Design scalable and efficient data models within Salesforce, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security for integration purposes.
Define and design robust integration patterns between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, etc.
Lead data engineering efforts, including migration, transformation, and integration processes for patient master data and Salesforce Marketing Cloud activation.
Establish data quality standards and participate in governance initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams on data architecture and performance optimization.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Support the Salesforce technical roadmap, especially for data and integration, and prioritize initiatives.
Design and architect data and integration solutions, build POCs, and address technical debt.
Design solutions focusing on performance and scalability, troubleshoot complex issues, and stay updated on new Salesforce features.
Create documentation for data models, integration designs, and data flows, ensuring compliance with policies.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience; Master's Degree with 7 years; PhD with 3 years, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of SDLC, client functions, systems, and development alternatives.
Salesforce Architect certifications preferred.
6+ years of experience in enterprise project execution, requirements analysis, solution architecture, and delivery.
Experience in Salesforce platform solutions, including Service Cloud and Health Cloud.
Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and Salesforce best practices.
Tools and Skills Salesforce.com, Service Cloud, Health Cloud
Additional Information The compensation range is based on job grade and geographic location, and may be adjusted.
