Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Load and unload in and outbound freight trucks, delivery trucks, UPS in a on time and full.
• Pick orders complete by utilizing a transfer order.
• Will be responsible to recharge forklift and pallet jack batteries daily.
• Inspect Forklift daily and will report any damage or problems relating to forklift trucks to immediate supervisor.
• Check incoming quantities against packing slip or BOL.
• Random test of location assignment (assigned by manager).
• Document/report any damaged goods to management.
• Adhere to all safety, QA, and HR procedures and policies.
• Use of scan guns for inventory location and transactions.
• Service materials to production lines in a timely manner following BOM or pick tickets.
• Follow inventory practices and policies.
• Preform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Must be able to operate standard forklift, powered hand lift truck and manual hand lift trucks.
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance and warehouse best practices.
• Skills in shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of SAP experience is preferred.
• Ability to use inventory scan guns, computers to complete or monitor inventory transactions.
• Must be able to lift and handle cans, components, skids, etc. up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow SOP's and adhere to standard work processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy: Operating systems
• Written and verbal communication in English
• Problem solving
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
