Operates stationary radiographic equipment in the Heart and Vascular Center to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CR and DR imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills. Function to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork oriented atmosphere within the department and hospital wide. MUST be able to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction skills to all customers of the Great River Health Systems. Demonstrates competent in X-ray procedures, Fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.

Minimum 2 years of experience is required.

40 hours per week 80 hours per pay period 8-hour days. Call obligation required with a 30-minute response time. Averaging around 12 call days to include 2 weekends in a 6-week period. RRT licensure and Cath Lab experience required. Special procedures tech for Cath Lab
