Once hired, there will be a 2-week onboard training process where candidates are required to work on campus each day during this period. The first week of training will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CT. The second week will shift to Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM EST.
This is a hybrid role: candidates can expect to work remotely and onsite twice a week in Pensacola, FL, with approximately 50% of the role conducted on the night shift from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM CT. The schedule is rotating 12-hour shifts, beginning Sundays and spanning through Saturdays. Example weeks: one week may consist of Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday; the following week may include Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the Enterprise network for system performance and availability.
Utilize Moogsoft AIOps and other monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
Detect, isolate, and resolve operational issues, incidents, and outages within defined timeframes.
Create and update incident and change tickets daily using ServiceNow.
Report all actions taken in managing alerts and events.
Collaborate with ETS support teams and vendors to address system outages and performance issues.
Perform routine tests of assigned systems and document results.
Assist with testing of systems and applications as required.
Track and report all service interruptions and outages related to branches.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Enterprise network monitoring.
Strong understanding of IT terminology, network topologies, and device relationships.
Experience in problem resolution, including root cause analysis.
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, Splunk, Moogsoft, or SolarWinds.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations and manage shifting priorities.
Ability to document and apply policies and procedures effectively.
A collaborative mindset to work well within a team and independently.
Unusual Working Conditions:
This position is designated as Essential Personnel, requiring flexibility for scheduling nights, weekends, and holidays.
Rotating shift schedule, including every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
