Gov Relations Administrative Assistant 25-32/hr - DC

Our client, an educationally focused association, is seeking a temporary to permanent Government Relations Sr. Assistant to support their busy VP and two Directors!
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive email and calendar support.
Coordinate travel, visits to Capitol Hill, and meetings with stakeholders.
Serve as the liaison between the association and outside organizations.
Support policy initiatives through research, analysis, brief drafting, legislative summaries, etc.
Provide additional departmental support through additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
3+ years of experience in a government affairs or public policy setting are required.
Experience working in a non-profit or association setting is highly desired.
Interested in policy and advocacy.
Quick-thinking self-starter who is confident in making independent decisions.
Position Information:
$25/hr-$32/hr, while temporary
$75K-$80K, when permanent
Robust benefits package when permanent!
Hybrid with 3-4 days/week onsite in Washington, DC.
Office is metro accessible!
