We are seeking a Director - Direct Express Product Management to join our Treasury Services Domestic Payments Product team in Washington DC.
This role will impact the strategy, adoption, and execution of our consumer disbursements for the Direct Express program, which disburses benefits to millions and is the largest government prepaid card program in the country.
Key Responsibilities Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for consumer disbursements.
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a customer-centric and innovative culture.
Manage requirements, program execution, and stakeholder expectations.
Define and prioritize product requirements, work with engineering and design teams in an agile environment.
Conduct market research, customer interviews, and data analysis to validate assumptions and identify opportunities.
Monitor product performance and use feedback to improve offerings.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations for successful product launches.
Oversee product governance, risk management, and vendor relationships.
Manage multiple workstreams, transition of existing accounts, and ongoing program management.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of product management experience, especially in Treasury services or government disbursements.
Proven success in launching products and managing complex programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of prepaid card disbursement markets and customer needs.
Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Additional Information BNY offers competitive compensation, benefits, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The salary range is approximately $136,000 to $191,000, with potential bonuses and incentives.
This at-will position may be modified at any time.
