Night Shift
You will be responsible for performing and reporting a wide range of routine and complex analyses in all sections of the clinical laboratory to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Develops research into new technologies, updates procedures, oversees processes, and teaches personnel and students.
What You Will Do Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids through chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying them using microscopic techniques.
Ensure operation of analyzers and laboratory equipment through calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new techniques.
Position Hours:
32 hours, Night Shifts, rotating weekends/holidays.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university and successful completion of NAACLS accredited MT program or MLT, or CLA certification program.
Prior experience in microbiology.
MT-ASCP or CLA (NCA) certification or eligibility to take the exam within the first year.
Strong interpersonal skills, technical competence, adaptability, and good command of English and medical terminology.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
