Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Tenant Ops Shift Systems Administrator with a Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Boulder, CO.

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS) is seeking a skilled Tenant Ops Shift Systems Administrator to support 24/7 operations for our federal government clients. As a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, we combine operational excellence with our Alaska Native Corporation values to deliver reliable and continuous system support. This position requires an active Secret clearance and involves shift work.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Monitor system health and performance metrics
Respond to system alerts and incidents
Perform scheduled maintenance activities
Manage system backups and recovery processes
Support 24/7 operational requirements
Execute change management procedures
Maintain system security controls
Provide emergency response support
Document operational activities and incidents
Coordinate with other shift teams
Manage user access and permissions
Perform system troubleshooting
Support tenant operations requirements
Maintain operational schedules
Implement standard operating procedures

Requirements:

7+ years of system administration experience
Experience with enterprise systems
Strong system administration skills
Experience with enterprise monitoring systems
Knowledge of incident management
Understanding of change control processes
Ability to work rotating shifts
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Experience with backup operations
Knowledge of security procedures
Excellence in technical documentation
Strong communication skills
Emergency response capabilities
Understanding of high-availability systems
Experience with performance monitoring
Ability to work independently
Experience with shift operations
Knowledge of system monitoring tools

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Technical certifications (MCSE, Linux+)
Experience with classified systems
Knowledge of virtualization platforms
Understanding of cloud technologies
Experience with automation tools
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Background in disaster recovery
Previous military or government service
Experience with enterprise applications
Knowledge of federal security requirements
Familiarity with tenant operations
Understanding of compliance standards
Experience with system optimization
Knowledge of capacity planning
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Experience with configuration management
Understanding of business continuity
