We are excited to invite a dedicated

Nurse Practitioner

to our clinic to make a meaningful impact on the lives of service members. Your role will be invaluable in ensuring these individuals receive the best possible care.
Your Role:
Conduct comprehensive general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations.
Review medical histories and relevant records.
Interpret clinical data and complete detailed written reports, generating independent medical opinions (IMO).
Examinations may be performed in a clinic setting, in the examinee's home, telephonically, or virtually through telehealth platforms.
Travel Requirements:

You will travel

up to 30%

of the time to perform physical examinations for veterans and service members across various locations in the country. All travel expenses are covered, and a per diem will be provided.
Compensation:

Salary ranges from

$110,000-$160,000

based on experience and education, plus potential annual bonus up to

30% .
Work Schedule and Location:
Typical hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm (1-hour lunch). Weekend/evening coverage may be occasionally required, with a max of 40 hours per week.
Clinic Address:

2138 Court Street, Redding CA 96001.
30% national travel.
3 weeks onboarding/training.
Manage 4-5 VA patients daily with additional patients from other lines of business.
Licensing in 12 additional states and CME costs will be covered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct physical examinations for the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of Labor.
Perform occupational health exams, including pre- and post-employment screenings.
Conduct evaluations for multi-system disabilities, including conditions specific to military service.
Complete examinations in person or via medical record review.
Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
Document examinee records accurately and collaborate with staff as necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
Demonstrated compassion and professionalism in providing excellent care.
Ability to assess health status through physical examinations.
Collaborative and informed decision-making skills.
Analytical abilities for evaluating medical opinions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records.
Required Qualifications:
Unrestricted state medical licensure.
National Licensing with ANCC or AANP.
Valid DEA license.
Completion of accredited post-baccalaureate education (Masters).
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience.
Valid CPR or BLS certification.
Ability to pass medical and NACI clearances.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in specialty/sub-specialty clinical roles.
Background in conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.
