Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age-specific and cultural needs. Your efforts will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach dedicated to quality and safety.
Your responsibilities will include performing care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and other treatments. Facilitate effective problem-solving among staff and communicate essential information to nursing administration and the Program Manager.
You will monitor, document, and relay patient conditions as necessary to the care team, physician, patients, and their families. Assist patients with daily activities including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaboration across disciplines is key for coordinating patient care during transfers, discharges, referrals, and providing spiritual and psychosocial support. Evaluate the learning needs of patients and/or families, offering tailored education based on age, culture, and circumstances.
As an advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being, your role is vital in their recovery journey.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Active RN License from Arizona or a compact license required.
BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
EHAC/ACS certification or completion required within 90 days of hire; annual requalification.
NIH Stroke Scale certification or completion required within 90 days of hire.
