Instructor GCCS - J Suite Operator /Communications

Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a GCCS - J C4I Instructor to provide training to RSNF trainees in various technical operations and/or communications equipment and courses associated with the RSNF GCCS -J Suite.
This position will be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will be an onsite position.

Instructs RSNF students in GCCS - J technical operations and communications courseware supporting the GCCS - J Suite.
Collaborates with and gathers course material with other subject matter experts.
Conducts analysis of program requirements and determines a strategic solution.
Converts written materials and course content into instruction for training RSNF students.
Provides a user-friendly interface for content contributors and end-users.
Maintains existing courseware in alignment with objectives.
Keeps abreast of training and development research:
adult learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
May evaluate students while administering training courseware.

Must be able to collaborate with PM, Lead ISD, subject matter experts, and/or multimedia specialists.

• Creates criteria for determining course effectiveness and makes improvements.
  
• Selects or develops teaching aids such as demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  
• May evaluate end-users to determine technological literacy, learning capacity, and teaching methodology.
  
• Develops flowcharts and storyboards based on course materials
• Must be knowledgeable and capable of operating various computer-based training systems including distance learning and long range facilitated group discussions.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelors Degree and 5-8 years experience (or commensurate)

Clearance Required:
Secret

• Must be able to clear a United States FBI Background check
• Must be able to pass medical screening requirements for assignment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Must be able to pass screening for obtaining required entry visas and work permits in KSA
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university, OR Certification as a Military Instructor with consequent code for classification (NEC 9502, Basic Airforce Instructor Course, Basic Army Instructor Course, etc.
  )
• Must have experience with RSNF GCCS - J C4I Suite to include Operator (Data Base Manager), and/or Communications Suite (Harris, RC 721 and Daytron 7700 radios), ADSI, Data Link Systems (Link - 11/Link - 16), KVH SATCOM system, NAVMACS II
• Must have 5+ years of experience in military or industrial training positions that require application of technical knowledge in the Operator or Communications field
• Must be able to perform in austere conditions with extreme temperatures and dry conditions
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and travel up and down ladders in an industrial environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Adult Learning Principles and the ability to interact with RSNF Trainees

• GCCS - J Operator or Communications Tech with a military background

• Familiarity with Military Command and Control Systems
• Familiarity with Military Communications Systems
• Prior experience in the United States Navy (OS, FC, ET, EW)
