Project controllers work with project managers to ensure a project stays within budget and gets delivered on time.
These team members help identify areas of improvement for project operations by closely monitoring a project's progress.Role responsibilitiesBe the single point of accountability for the project controls on selected projectsWork directly with senior project executives and ensure project continuityInteract, direct and guide documentation, cost and schedule controllersBuild and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and externalSupport in winning new work orders through external tendering and building internal networksDevelop and continuously improve the work processes related to project controlsRole requirementsEducation:
Preferable bachelor in Engineering or building environment or businessTechnical Skills:
Need to be proficient in scheduling software, cost management software, and other tools commonly used in project management.
Candidates should also have a good understanding of integration management, cost engineering, and risk management principles.Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experienceCertifications:
Registration or eligibility to register with professional bodies would be an advantageQualification related to any project controls field of specialisationSkills and characteristicsPassionate about project control management as a primary career choiceAble to navigate uncertainty and conflict resolutionInspirational leadership and people developer qualitiesStrong Communication Skills:
The candidate needs to be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including project team members, management, and clients.

The project controls manager must be able to analyze data, identify problems and develop solutions.Strong Organizational Skills:
