Support our Nursing team to deliver quality care to our Elders

Enliven provides aged residential care to older people in the lower half of the North Island. We believe our elders should remain connected to their community and live stimulating and fulfilling lives. All our Homes embrace an elder-directed model of care called the Eden Alternative. Enliven operates as part of Presbyterian Support Central (PSC), a not-for-profit organisation and a charity incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. While we operate as a separate entity to the Presbyterian Church, our name, Enliven, celebrates our beginnings, heritage, and shared values, and we have been delivering a variety of community-based services for over 100 years, proudly supporting people with our extensive experience.

Mō te tūranga - About the role

The role involves providing safe and high-quality clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, social, emotional, and cultural needs are met
Supporting residents to maintain independence and autonomy, promoting their wellbeing in line with the Eden Principles and Domains of Wellbeing
Directing, delegating, monitoring, and evaluating the care provided by Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Assistants
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation, and effectively communicating with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Actively promoting a culture of quality through best practices, continuous improvement, and participation in internal audits and quality projects
Must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
Relevant clinical experience in caring for older adults
Must be trained in InterRAI, a comprehensive clinical assessment tool
Achieves Enliven Registered Nurse Competent Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP)
Demonstrates cultural competency, particularly in relation to te ao Māori and the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi
