Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for your next challenge? Due to a promotion within our Team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team based in Christchurch.
This role is pivotal in supporting our people, leaders, and the business by delivering high-quality, pragmatic HR advice and services. You will play a key role in driving our people strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Tait's values and business objectives.
The Duties Of The Role Will Include

Partnering with leaders to deliver effective end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle
Providing expert advice on employment relations matters, performance, and change processes
Supporting the design and implementation of people initiatives, including engagement, wellbeing, and culture programs
Leading or contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities
Coaching and mentoring people leaders to develop their capabilities and confidence
Supporting the delivery of key HR processes including talent management, remuneration, and workforce planning

Ō Pūkenga - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or other related field
(or equivalent experience) in HR discipline.
You Will Also Bring

10+ years' experience in HR, with a focus on Employment Relations and Health and Safety in New Zealand.
Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead HR initiatives and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Sound knowledge of NZ employment legislation and best practice
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Confidence in dealing with ambiguity and driving solutions
A collaborative and flexible approach with the ability to influence and support at all levels
Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
