The role
We're looking for an experienced, flexible marketer who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments. As our Marketing & Partnerships Lead, you'll play a critical role in defining and executing our marketing strategy, sharpening our brand positioning, and amplifying our voice in the market and with current clients. This position requires 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally working with or within large, well-established brands.
You'll work closely with the co-founders and sales teams to uncover opportunities for growth, support business development, and build a compelling thought leadership presence. A key part of your role will also be to lead key account management for our New Zealand partners, serving as the primary contact for strategic clients (NZ's top brands). You'll be both a strategic thinker and hands-on doer, comfortable editing content one minute, and shaping brand direction and positioning the next.
Key responsibilities
Own and refine the company's brand positioning, voice, and messaging
Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and inbound interest
Develop and manage content (e.g., articles, reports, thought pieces, LinkedIn) to support both awareness and positioning as experts
Collaborate with Sales to generate ideas, collateral, and tactical posts that support the sales funnel
Lead key account management for our NZ partners:
Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients (NZ's top brands)
Proactively surface insights, optimisations and new opportunities in their communities
Establish the business as a thought leader in the community-building and community insights space
Support demand generation efforts through both organic and paid channels
Track, measure, and report on key marketing metrics
Identify and secure new opportunities for brand partnerships, speaking opportunities, and other visibility efforts
About You
3-5 years of marketing experience with the agency, large brands or startup environments
You're working towards a career goal of becoming a marketing legend
A self‑starter who can take initiatives from concept through to execution
Strong editorial and content creation skills - you're confident editing copy and shaping narratives
Strategic mindset with hands-on executional ability-you thrive in seeing the ways a high level strategic plan can be brought to life and executed
Comfortable working cross-functionally and wearing multiple hats
A natural communicator who understands how to build influence and brand trust
Familiarity with community engagement, insights, or analytics tools a plus
You're confident working with data, able to spot patterns, draw meaningful insights, and translate them into clear, actionable marketing decisions
