Principal Life Sciences

We are looking for a Principal Life Sciences to join the Dutch Analytics Solutions & Consulting team at IQVIA Netherlands, reporting into the Director Analytics Solutions & Consulting.
In this role, you will be involved in client/project leadership, business development, and people/operational leadership to support clients that are based in the Netherlands.
You will be working directly with new and existing clients to develop business opportunities and deliver outstanding client engagement, while building trusting relationships.
You will engage with our Life Sciences clients, effectively supporting them in accelerating innovation and efficiency in the Dutch healthcare landscape.
What You'll Be Doing Identifying, creating and developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients; effectively driving department revenue and profitability within Life Sciences.
Developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues and create tangible client impact.
Creating actionable recommendations for our clients based on in-depth industry and domain knowledge of the client issues and insights from the data generated during project execution.
Taking the lead role in ongoing engagements; managing the client interface and the project team.
Joining the IQVIA NL Commercial Management Team to identify commercial opportunities and challenges to the industry and clients and to develop tangible and commercial offerings.
Working with the IQVIA NL business development community (including the sales team and other functional BD leads) on account management to co-create new opportunities.
Maintaining in-depth relationships with senior management client teams.
Developing and maintaining knowledge of client strategies, the industry, and healthcare trends.
Contributing to the awareness of IQVIA driving IQVIA's mission and vision (focused on consulting and analytics services) in the marketplace through speaking engagements, client meetings and publications.
Mentoring, coaching and sharing subject matter/domain expertise with others to support organizational, team and individual development.
Who you are:
You have at least 10 years work experience in healthcare (Life Sciences) consultancy or related fields.
You hold an MSc.
or equivalent degree in biomedical sciences, epidemiology, business, communication, healthcare or other potentially relevant backgrounds.
You have a clear understanding of the Dutch healthcare, understand its bottlenecks and are driven to contribute to a positive change by collaborating with Life Science companies.
A proven seller of multi-faceted strategic engagements to Life Sciences companies.
A proven manager of multi-faceted strategic engagements to Life Sciences companies.
You have an extensive network within Life Sciences companies in the Netherlands.
An excellent client partner with proven ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions.
Passionate about innovation, an excellent problem solver, proactive and hands-on.
A successful mentor and a leader who enables excellence in others.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
You have affinity and experience with relevant life science themes such as HCP engagement, Omnichannel applications, AI in healthcare, Real World Insights, Launch, Loss of Exclusivity, Commercial Excellence, Brand strategy etc.
Ideally, you have therapeutic area expertise in vaccines, cell & gene therapies, diagnostics or other relevant disease areas.

real-world data, Biomedical Sciences, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, business, market research, data analytics, linguistics, communication, social psychology and omnichannel.
Within Analytics Solutions we are dedicated to accelerate innovation and efficiency in healthcare together with our clients.
We do this by executing projects for our Life Sciences and healthcare clients based on the combination of data, advanced analytics and domain expertise.
We partner with commercial, medical and business insights teams in the Life Sciences sector (Pharmaceutical, MedTech and Consumer Health companies) to support them leveraging and interpreting data and make evidenced-based decisions for their strategy.
