The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Application Engineer for the dental solutions business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:

• Drive growth though customer collaboration, new product development, and technical support of commercialized products
• Lead regional customer insight collection via surveys, interviews, and focus panels to define user needs for global NPI design control input.
• Generate customer facing technical content, local competitive product analysis, and educational content for customers and sales teams
• Lead trouble shooting for product and practice issues with end users
• Validate product design and functionality
• Complete technical deliverables required for imported product registrations

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited University
• Three (3) years of experience in a technical role or have medical device, dental industry experience, as dental or orthodontic assistant or dental hygienist in a private, public, government or military environment
• Ability to communicate in both Japanese and English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Quality Management System, Dental industry experience, knowledge of dental or orthodontic products

• Able to identify and gather customer insights and technology/product opportunities
• Demonstrated expertise in application engineering, statistical analysis, customer insights collection and/or facilitating focus panels
• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills
• Experience with quality system, regulatory process and requirement

• Japan

Travel:
May include up to 10% domestic
