The Role

As an AVEVA PI Architect, you will Develop and maintain the PI AF structures ensuring all data is categorized and displayed in a consistent manner.
In this role you will Build PI Vision displays in support of control room operations as needed.
You are expected to have a good understanding of AVEVA PI architecture and its components for this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Business team to add points on all new model builds, and retire those going out of operation.
• Ensure development decisions remain aligned with business needs.
• Design functional and integration test plans/scripts and perform unit testing activities.
• Direct and coordinate work of others to test programs.
• Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.
• Create or assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
• Understand "best business" practices and standards and relate them to AVEVA PI software.
• Ability to set and meet self-imposed deadlines and conclude assignments with minimal external prompting.
  Must be able to work effectively in a highly dynamic team environment and assist all groups as needed.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience with Functional and Non-Functional Business Requirement gathering.
• Experience working with all modules of AVEVA PI like PI ACE, PI Asset Framework, Archive Servers, PI Manual logger, PI Vision etc.
• Professional or IT experience have worked on PI Connectors Integrators to ESRI, Business Analytics Azure Strong on Designing the AF Structure with ISA-95 Standards AF Analytics Good Understanding on Purdue Model Experience with Integrating AVEVA PI with 3rd party Apps.
  PI 2010 or above experience in a multi-site collection.
• Proficiency in standard office software applications including MS Word, Excel PI Data Link, Access, and Outlook Base proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio C, with good understanding on AF SDK Good organization and communication skills, both oral and written, are essential to success in this position.

Good to have

• Functional Understanding of the Power Transmission and Distribution.
• Customer interactions and working in multi-vendor environment.
