Role Overview:

As a Logistics Administrator for Leidos LCST, you will play a crucial role in analysing logistics data, identifying trends, and preparing comprehensive reports to optimize supply chain operations.

You will support the logistics team by providing actionable insights and ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis:
  Collect, analyse, and interpret logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Reporting:
  Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, including KPIs, cost analysis, and efficiency metrics
• Trend Identification:
  Monitor and analyse market trends and logistics data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels
• Process Improvement:
  Recommend and implement process improvements based on data analysis to enhance logistics operations
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and provide insights
• Compliance:
  Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
• Support:
  Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the logistics team

Skills Required:

• Experience:
  Previous experience in logistics administration, data analysis, or a similar role is preferred but this is an entry level role so training will be provided
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis tools
• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational Skills:
  Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Team Player:
  Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders

The Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UK's defence supply chain. The programme provides essential services such as storage and distribution for the MOD's materiel, including a global freight service and the procurement and inventory management of 70,000 commodity NATO Stock Number (NSNs).
