Responsibilities

Renault Group and its Cybersecurity organisation DIR-S are deploying an AppSec program across the company and its subsidiaries. We are seeking AppSec Champions to support main Renault Group organisations (Renault Group, Ampere Software Technology, Mobilize) in implementing best practices and tools for a full transition to an SSDLC approach. The Cybersecurity AppSec Champion will:

• Contribute to the AppSec champion network, sharing experience and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Understand Renault's digital ecosystem and Agile development processes.
• Advocate for AppSec transformation among development teams.
• Promote and follow up on training for developers on cybersecurity basics available on our training platform.
• Contribute to documenting cybersecurity best practices and guidelines for developers.
• Follow up on security remediation activities by development teams.
• Assist development teams with security issues.
• Contribute to addressing new security controls, processes, and tools (evaluation, workshops, etc.).
• Help develop assets such as automation, integrations, shared security libraries, etc.
• Train development teams on processes, tools, and best practices.

Core Competencies

• At least 5 years of experience in development roles (Developer, Lead Developer).
• Strong knowledge of programming frameworks (Java Spring, Python, NodeJS, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of gitflow, CI/CD principles, ideally with GitLab.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Additional Competencies

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and AppSec activities.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, especially Google Cloud Platform and Cloud Native architectures.
