We are looking for a Operations Digital Payment , in particular credit cards, to accelerate and optimize additional payment solutions to our offering, in addition to direct carrier billing (DCB). This will primarily involve credit cards but will also include other alternative payment methods such as wallets. This is a hands-on position, working closely with internal teams, PSPs and acquirers to reduce friction, increase conversion and ensure compliance while refining payment flows in a high-risk merchant environment.

Your responsibilities, should you accept the challenge :

• Support and accelerate the shift from DCB to credit cards and alternative methods (wallets, bank transfers, open banking, etc.).
• Ensure a seamless coexistence of DCB and new payment methods, optimizing conversion at every step.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with high-risk merchant transactions (e.g., chargebacks, fraud, regulatory scrutiny).

Payment Flow & User Experience Optimization.

• Refine payment flows for one-time transactions, subscriptions, and recurring payments (CIT, MIT).
• Analyze and enhance the user experience across web, mobile, and app platforms to streamline payments.
• Reduce friction while maintaining security and compliance, leveraging SCA exemptions where applicable.

Financial & Risk Management.

• Map out and optimize the full fund flow, from the cardholder to the final settlement.
• Work with acquirers, PSPs, and issuers to reduce costs and improve processing times.
• Implement chargeback prevention strategies, ensuring compliance with high-risk merchant requirements.
• Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to develop fraud prevention mechanisms aligned with PSD2, PCI-DSS, and acquirer requirements.

Regulatory & Compliance Execution.

• Ensure all payments comply with PSD2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SEPA regulations.
• Identify and apply SCA exemptions to streamline authentication without increasing risk.
• Validate that PSPs and acquirers meet licensing and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with high-risk industry standards.

Payment Provider Integration & Diversification

• Work hands-on with multiple PSPs, ensuring flexibility and avoiding provider lock-in.
• Optimize multi-PSP strategies, ensuring redundancy and the best cost / conversion balance.
• Define technical and commercial criteria for selecting the right payment partners based on transaction types.

Execution of Technical & Security Standards

• Ensure seamless technical integration with PSPs while complying with 3DS2 and SCA.
• Monitor and enforce PCI-DSS compliance in payment processing and storage.
• Work with development teams to implement secure, scalable, and modular payment solutions.

Minimum Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience in digital payments, ideally in VAS, telecom, gaming, or digital content services.
• Proven experience working with high-risk merchants, managing chargebacks, fraud prevention, and acquirer compliance.
• Hands-on experience migrating businesses from DCB to credit cards and alternative payment methods.
• Strong understanding of PSD2, PCI-DSS, fraud prevention, authentication models (SCA, 3DS2, MIT, CIT).
• Experience working with PSPs, acquirers, and payment processors.
• Proven ability to optimize payment conversion, reduce friction, and manage risk.
• Experience in recurring payments, micropayments, and high-value transactions.
• Knowledge of Open Banking, fintech payment innovations, and alternative payment rails.
• Familiarity with multi-PSP integrations and orchestration.
