Descripción del trabajoDirect message the job poster from Cushman & WakefieldThe Corporate Counsel will provide corporate, commercial, and transactional legal support to Cushman & Wakefield's skill lines and corporate functions with a primary focus on the Iberian business (managing contractual risks and litigation), working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.With proven legal experience from relevant private practice and / or in-house environments, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can provide technical legal advice to efficiently and effectively support the business and serve as a counselor and partner to key business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, draft, negotiate, finalize and oversee the approval process for agreements for the Owner & Occupier Services and Brokerage & Capital Markets businesses in the Iberian region (and potentially other jurisdictions) in collaboration with the business service line legal teams.Support with the effective management and coordination of disputes and litigation matters in Spain and Portugal and advise on corporate secretarial matters.Develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures, leveraging technology, to consistently analyze and mitigate complex contractual risk while increasing efficiency and consistency in contracting, while advising on localization of such agreements.Advise and counsel service line and regional leadership.Research, analyze and keep current on legal issues and laws, legislation, regulations and court decisions affecting the real estate industry and real estate service providers.Create training and development opportunities for internal clients and the broader Legal Team.Perform other related duties as required or requested.Requirements and Key Skills:
Experience:
3-5 years in a law firm or in-house legal role; Real Estate experience preferred.Languages:
Fluent English (Portuguese is a plus).Experience in managing architectural / design contracts and refurbishment contracts.Skills:
