The Control Room Operator is responsible for the real-time monitoring and control of energy generation facilities across the EMEA region.
This role involves coordinating closely with System Performance Engineers, Operations and Maintenance teams, and Analysts to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor photovoltaic (PV) facilities using Recurrent Energy proprietary Global Monitoring Platform to identify and address potential issues.Investigate, validate, and respond to system alarms and faults to ensure minimal disruption to operations.Create and manage work orders for local Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams in response to identified issues or alarms.Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory entities concerning required shutdowns, curtailment, or other events impacting facility generation.Coordinate with CCTV suppliers for any type of security issue on the facilities under operation.Operate and manage the facilities' SCADA systems remotely to maintain optimal performance.Assist in the development and documentation of operating procedures to standardize operations and enhance efficiency.Support ISO 9001 standards.Strictly adhere to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications and Experience:
Electrical Professional Certification, Renewable Energy Certificate, or a related field.
Engineering degree in Electrical or Energy is a plus.Advanced level in English is required; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.Experience in a customer service or supplier service environment is highly desirable.Strong work ethic and a positive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) operations and/or BESS is an asset.Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.Working knowledge of Python and SQL is not required but considered a plus.Why choose Recurrent Energy?A good work environment.Be part of a leading company with a consolidated competitive position.International environment.Health Insurance.Possibility to get involved in transversal projects of the organization.Company Commitment:
